The aim of the lecture is to highlight that in our work we have to pay attention to the functional stability, the health of the jaw joint and the masticatory organ, while achieving the best possible aesthetics.
From an orthodontist's point of view, we will see the different level of problems we may face in relation to the jaw joint and occlusal deviations.
By presenting borderline cases, the lecturer will try to outline a comprehensive approach and the importance of collaboration between different disciplines. Focus on the importance of treating the whole body, with manual therapy as a tool. How the different muscles provide support for neuromuscular abnormalities of the jaw joint, and how we can use the information obtained in orthodontic treatment.
